NEWS A Word From Stacey My family and I continue to travel all across the state sharing our story and ideas for the auditor's office, but Thursday nights are reserved for campaigning at a place particularly important to me - junior colleges. The junior college system is an invaluable part of Mississippi's education structure. I attended Jones County Junior College and know of this importance firsthand. Junior colleges provide access to high quality education close to home and grow our trained workforce. The auditor's office has a special relationship with junior colleges, so Whitney and I have dedicated ourselves to meeting the students, families, faculty, and administrators who share our concern about higher education. We began our tour of Mississippi's junior colleges at Southwest Community College in Summit, Miss. There we met with administrators to listen to their concerns and ideas about higher education and enjoyed a football game with Southwest Bears fans. My family and I look forward to seeing you on the campaign trail.
